Slowburn has quickly grabbed the attention of many cattlemen for good reason. An outstanding herd bull in terms of phenotype and performance. His first two calf crops are very consistent, showing the natural shape and muscle he possesses to go along with his herd bull presence and authentic angus character. His foot and leg structure pass on to his progeny along with his high libido and athleticism. His dam has matured into a beautiful donor female, she’s a mile long and as wide as a truck with a huge barrel to go along with outstanding feet. Now that Slowburn’s first daughters are bred and have started calving we feel confident in saying they will be cornerstones in our herd for a long time.
Our high seller in 2022 to Dersta, Matejka and E-L Ranching, for $40000 this herd bull is on the path to carry the torch from the deceased Electric bull. A sound structured, easy moving herd bull with a great cow family behind him. His first calf crop is what we were hoping for, moderate birthweight, soft sided cattle with shape and structural integrity. His sons are at the top of the bull pen and his daughters have the look of easy doing females already. With a dozen sons in the sale pen it is easy to see why Adrenaline gathered so much attention in the 2022 sale season.

• Had herd bull written all over him at a very early age
• All the properties of a true performance beef bull with extra size, dimension and expansive rib shape
• Sound from the ground up with the perfect balance of bone and muscle
• Massive topped and a stout lower third, one of the best red power bulls to sell this year
• Wean index of 107 and YI at 110
• Combination of scale crushing performance and maternal excellence that will leave a long line of easy doing, early maturing, deep soggy females that will be highly fertile and stand the test of time
• Donor dam has two natural daughters working in the herd with more ET progeny hitting the ground as we speak
• Maternal brother LWNBRG Dually 179K was a sale feature in 2023 to Dave Slingerland at Tempest Red Angus
• Maternal brother to 73F, BRXTN 103K was a performance driven herd bull in the same year and was selected by Dubas Cattle Company

A bull that has turned into a slam dunk cow maker. Already beloved for his great disposition and ability to cover an extreme amount of cows, his daughters are truly something to behold, highly maternal, soggy soft made, fertile mama cows that will be this great herd bulls’ legacy. Dark cherry red, beautiful udders and stamped with his Angus character. Bulls like him are what made the breed into what it is today and continue to set the bar in terms of functionality and practicality.
If you study the High Pressure’s cow family and the production of these cows you will see why we were very excited to add him to our sire lineup in 2019. A Cobra son whose 87X dam is a high quality donor, his dam was the high selling cow at the T-K dispersal and is also a donor for Brost’s at Hawkeye Ranch. A moderate birth bull, his progeny are blood red, good footed with an authentic angus skull. His daughters are moderate framed with excellent maternal instincts.

First Down has earned a complete confidence as a maternal herd bull. First daughters are beautiful productive young cows. The kind that produce as good as they look. We feel strongly about First Down’s ability to raise future donors like his dam 87R and his Elite grandam 95J. Correct in body design, his first sons sold very well, and many are rising to the top of the pen again. His progeny have natural shape and are very balanced. He has proven to be a reliable calving ease herd bull, with 65 progeny averaging 78 pounds, and the calf health and vigour is second to none. No doubt a bull that will have a heavy influence on our herd for years to come. Owned with Dvorak Ranches.
